We have had a wonderful holiday! The cottage is beautiful: we love the original features but also the convenience of 21st century mod cons! It is a great base for exploring the local area . We will definitely be recommending the cottage to others and may well be back!

Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay at Jack's. The cottage was spotless - and I mean spotless!! The Covid safe measures are the best I have seen, so huge thanks for that. Everything so comfortable - the sofa and bed, plus log fire - perfect. Until next time!'

"Had a perfect 3 night stay at Jack’s cottage. The cottage was very cosy - had the homely/cottage feels; it was immaculately clean, well-equipped with all the modern appliances. Mary, the owner was fantastic in communication and making our stay very accommodating to our needs. She was very thoughtful and welcomed us with the little touches: chocolates, wine and a small bottle of milk - it was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend a stay; perfect location and perfect for couples. Thank you again Mary for being a lovely host!"

'This perfect hide away is nestled in the very pretty village of Longnor where we enjoyed breakfast in Jack’s garden (fresh provisions can be purchased only seconds away at Longnor General Store) cosy evenings curled up on the couch watching TV and we had great fun exploring the surrounding areas with little or no difficulty due to its central location. Having enjoyed a good long walk, or for that matter a good night's sleep what could be better than to treat yourself to invigorating shower...? Jack’s Cottage has it covered. And if being a god or goddess in the kitchen is not your thing, fear not as there are several rather good eateries within spitting distance of your front door. The fish & chip shop literally at the end of the street is not to be missed, diagonally across the market square you will find Cobbles Cafe for a terrific bacon butty or full English breakfast which will set up up for a days walking. Our only regret is that we didn’t feel that the weather cold enough to light up the fire, but then it’s a reason to return not that we need one. Until next time...'
